Design your new

The base price is subject to change according to client specifications. The level of detail in the costumes, weapons, specific clothing accessories, and extra characters involved (such as pets or companions) may make the price go up, or I would have to charge separately.

First, you will get 5+ sketch raw concepts, most times I would do 6–8 base designs. I usually stop sketching alternatives when I feel I'm giving you enough designs with different approaches to choose from or I feel I got that one magnificent design you're looking for hohoho. Something like this, let's use past commissions as an example: Sharotto, a Saiyan kid I got commissioned to design

After you get these first concepts, you can change some small things and choose one or mix them up by telling me something like, "I want the boots from #3, with the hair style of #2, and gloves from #4." With that, I will go and make the final design (front view only) for you to approve. This time with Sharotto, the customer loved the #8 design entirely but wanted to see #1 and #2 hair mixed up with a different approach to its art style. I made all the first ones with the early DB style in mind, with simpler hair and lines, but the customer wanted a more "modern" DBZ-like style on it, with noticeable hair strands. And with Okara, the customer wanted a mix of #4 and #5, and for the companion, the #1 alternative was selected.

They got back something like this after their feedback to make the final choice:

Time for the final concept and for you to approve it. You can tell me which colors you would like to see on them, give me a few screenshots with notes on them or a list with specific color values, and I will do color
variants for them or add the exact color scheme you want on them for the final version with the back and side views for the final art and
sheet of your brand new OC. In both cases with these characters, I made color variants according to some of the customer specifications but also my personal taste and what I thought looked cool and unique on them.

Finally, we have the final design, colors, and different views for the first sheet of your new OC. If you need to mix color schemes, you can, as we did with the design variants before and after this we should be done. I will add some little details and send you the HD images and printing files of your commission.

I hope this helps clarify your doubts before you order one of this commissions. If you want a less or more detailed sheet and design, we can arrange that and evaluate the price. I've done hairstyles, transformations, armors, or single pieces of clothing separately too. For now, this would be the standard for character design commissions, given the nature of it and the fact that behind the final sheet the most demanding steps
are the first variants and the creative process for them.
